What is Ameano tirzepatide?
AMP-2P is freeze-dried tirzepatide in a sealed glass vial. Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid peptide from Eli Lilly that activates two gut hormone receptors, GIP and GLP-1. A fatty acid side chain lets it bind albumin in the blood, which stretches its half-life to about five days.
Lilly sells it as Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes and as Zepbound for weight management. AMP-2P is research material, not the clinical product, and it’s sold for laboratory use only.

All five come as a single vial, a 5 pack that saves 10% or a 10 pack that saves 15%. The price per milligram drops sharply as the vial gets bigger. The 10mg vial works out at $2.90 a milligram, while the 60mg vial comes in at about $1.52. If a study will use the larger amount before the mixed vial’s roughly 28-day window runs out, the bigger vial is the better buy.
How tirzepatide works
GIP and GLP-1 are both released by the gut after eating, and both push the pancreas to release insulin when blood sugar is high. GLP-1 also slows stomach emptying and acts on appetite centers in the brain. Tirzepatide is built on the GIP sequence and tuned to hit the GLP-1 receptor too, and it leans toward GIP in binding strength.
Tirzepatide research: the SURMOUNT and SURPASS trials

AMP-2P is made to 99% purity or better by HPLC. The COA is filed under the batch number on the label, and we’ll email it on request. To reconstitute, add a sterile liquid such as our research diluent solution slowly down the side of the vial and swirl until clear. A 10mg vial with 2mL gives 5mg/mL. Keep sealed vials in the fridge or freezer, and mixed vials in the fridge for up to about four weeks.
