How to use the vial case

Put the vials in label side out so you can read them without taking them out. The slots are sized for standard research vials, so they sit snug and don’t rattle.

The case fits on a fridge shelf, which keeps reconstituted vials upright and away from food. Close the latch before carrying it anywhere.

Why use a vial case?

Loose vials roll, fall over and get lost at the back of the fridge. Upright storage also keeps the liquid off the rubber stopper, which is better for anything you’ve already mixed.

If you buy peptides in a 10 pack, one case holds the lot. It’s also compact and light enough for a kit bag if you need to move vials between rooms.

Looking after the vial case

Wipe the vial case with an alcohol wipe now and then and let it air-dry. Keep it out of hot cars and direct sun, since printed and molded plastics can warp in heat. Store it with your vials so it’s always where you need it.

If you’re setting up for the first time, the AMP Vial Opener is the other accessory most people add. Between the two, opening, storing and finding vials gets a lot easier.

Storing reconstituted vials

Once a vial is mixed, it goes in the fridge at 2 to 8°C and should be used within about four weeks. Upright storage keeps the solution off the rubber stopper, and keeping all your open vials in one case makes it easy to see what’s in use and what’s next.

Write the mixing date on each vial label, and put the oldest ones at the front of the case. It sounds fussy, but it’s how labs avoid using a vial past its date.

Made for multi-pack orders

Most of our peptides come as a single vial, a 5 pack that saves 10% or a 10 pack that saves 15%. A 10 pack of BPC-157 10mg is $374.00, and a 10 pack of AMP-2P 10mg is $246.50. The case holds all ten vials from a pack like that in one place, in order, with the labels facing out.

Add it to the same order and it ships in the same box, so there’s no extra delivery to wait for.

Who the vial case is for

It’s for labs and researchers who keep more than a couple of vials going at once. One case holds a full 10 pack, so everything from one order stays together, labeled and upright.

It also makes a first order simpler. You’ll have somewhere to put the vials the day they arrive, and nothing ends up rolling around the fridge door.

What else you need on the bench

For reconstituting freeze-dried peptides you’ll also want a sterile diluent, such as our 10mL research diluent solution or the 2mL diluent kit, plus sterile syringes and alcohol swabs. Popular vials people store and open with these tools are BPC-157 10mg, AMP-2P 10mg and AMP-3P 6mg.

Good handling matters more than people expect. Most failed reconstitutions come from contamination or a dropped vial, not from the peptide itself. Here’s a PubMed search on lab vial handling if you want the background.
