Ameano retatrutide (AMP-3P): strengths, prices and research
Ameano retatrutide is sold as AMP-3P in six strengths, from 6mg to 48mg. This guide covers what retatrutide is, what the phase 2 trial reported, how the strengths compare on price, and how to store a vial once it arrives.

What is Ameano retatrutide?
AMP-3P is freeze-dried retatrutide in a sealed glass vial, labeled with the amount and a batch number. Retatrutide (LY3437943) is an Eli Lilly peptide that activates three receptors at once: GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon. It was the first triple agonist of its kind to reach late-stage trials, and that’s why it gets so much attention.
We sell it under a code name to keep the label short. The generic name is printed on the product page, so you always know what’s in the vial.
Ameano retatrutide strengths and prices
- AMP-3P 6mg: from $39
- AMP-3P 10mg: from $44
- AMP-3P 12mg: from $52
- AMP-3P 20mg: from $67
- AMP-3P 24mg: from $80
- AMP-3P 48mg: from $159
Every strength comes as a single vial, a 5 pack that saves 10% or a 10 pack that saves 15%. The 10mg vial is the one most people start with. The 24mg and 48mg vials cost far less per milligram, so they make more sense once a study is running. For combination work there’s also the Reta Cagri blend 12.5mg/2.5mg, which pairs retatrutide with the amylin analog cagrilintide in one vial.
How retatrutide works
GIP and GLP-1 are incretins, hormones the gut releases after a meal. Both push the pancreas to release insulin when blood sugar is high, and GLP-1 also slows stomach emptying and dampens appetite. The glucagon part is the unusual bit. Glucagon raises energy use and pushes the liver to burn fat, so retatrutide adds a spending signal on top of the two appetite and insulin signals.
That makes it a natural comparison point for the dual agonist tirzepatide (AMP-2P) and the single agonist semaglutide (AMP-1P). Our Ameano tirzepatide guide covers the dual agonist.
Retatrutide research so far
Jastreboff and colleagues published the phase 2 obesity trial in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2023. At the highest dose, 12mg, average weight loss was about 24% after 48 weeks, which was more than earlier incretin trials had reported over a similar time. A separate phase 2 trial looked at people with type 2 diabetes. The phase 3 program runs under the name TRIUMPH. To read the papers, start with this PubMed search for retatrutide.
Ameano retatrutide quality and COA
AMP-3P is made to 99% purity or better by HPLC, the same floor as almost every Ameano research peptide. The certificate of analysis is filed under the batch number printed on the label. Email that number and we’ll send the COA for your exact batch. Our lab testing page explains what the COA shows.
Reconstituting and storing Ameano retatrutide
Add a sterile liquid such as our research diluent solution slowly down the inside of the vial and swirl gently until it’s clear. A 10mg vial with 2mL of diluent gives 5mg/mL, and each product page lists the figures for other volumes. Keep sealed vials in the fridge, or the freezer for long storage. Once mixed, refrigerate the vial and use it within about 28 days.
Ameano retatrutide FAQ
Is AMP-3P retatrutide?
Yes. AMP-3P is the Ameano Peptides product name for retatrutide research material, and the product page names the compound in its first line.
Which Ameano retatrutide strengths are there?
6mg, 10mg, 12mg, 20mg, 24mg and 48mg vials, plus the Reta Cagri blend with 12.5mg retatrutide and 2.5mg cagrilintide.
Is retatrutide approved?
No. It’s still in clinical trials and isn’t approved anywhere. AMP-3P is sold for laboratory research only.
Can I get the COA for my AMP-3P vial?
Yes. Email the batch number from the label and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for that batch.
