Ameano GHK-Cu: research vials and copper peptide skin care
Ameano GHK-Cu comes two ways: as freeze-dried research peptide in 50mg and 100mg vials, and in a line of copper peptide skin care. This guide covers what GHK-Cu is, the research behind it, the blends and the creams.

What is Ameano GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to a copper ion. GHK occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine, and its levels fall with age. Loren Pickart first isolated it from human plasma in 1973, and it has been studied in skin and wound research ever since.
Ameano GHK-Cu research vials hold the freeze-dried peptide at 99% purity or better. The copper gives the powder its blue color.
Ameano GHK-Cu research vials and blends
- GHK-Cu 50mg: from $35
- GHK-Cu 100mg: from $53
- GHK-Cu KPV Blend 50mg/20mg (Beauty Blend): from $85
- Glow Blend (BPC-157/TB4/GHK-Cu) 70mg: from $88
- Klow Blend 80mg: from $98
The 50mg and 100mg vials are plain GHK-Cu. The GHK-Cu KPV blend adds the tripeptide KPV. Glow combines GHK-Cu with BPC-157 and TB4, and Klow adds KPV to that mix. The vials come as singles, 5 packs (save 10%) or 10 packs (save 15%).
What the GHK-Cu research shows
GHK binds copper tightly and can deliver it to cells. Copper is a cofactor for lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that cross-links collagen and elastin. In cell and animal studies, GHK-Cu increased collagen and glycosaminoglycan production, drew repair cells to wounds, and changed the activity of a large number of genes linked to tissue remodeling. Pickart’s later papers cover much of this. Start with this PubMed search for GHK-Cu.
Ameano GHK-Cu skin care
- GHK-Cu Cream 100mL (CopperGlow with SNAP-8): $89
- Copper Peptide Cream 50mL (Capsule Cream): $39
- GHK-Cu Cosmetic Powder 1g Ampule: $35
- AHK-Cu Cosmetic Powder 1g Ampule: $50
These are finished cosmetics, not research vials. The GHK-Cu cream pairs copper peptide with SNAP-8 for the face and neck, and the copper peptide capsule cream is a lighter daily cream. The GHK-Cu cosmetic powder and the related AHK-Cu powder are for mixing into your own serum. Each page lists directions and ingredients. Browse the rest of peptide skin care.
Storing GHK-Cu
Keep sealed research vials in the fridge, or the freezer for long storage, away from light. Reconstitute with a sterile liquid such as our research diluent solution, then refrigerate and use within about 28 days. Copper peptide solutions can slowly lose their blue color if they’re left warm or in light, which is one more reason to keep them cold and dark. Creams go in a cool, dry place with the lid closed. For research vials, email us the batch number from the label and we’ll send the COA.
