Description
The GHK-Cu KPV blend vial from Ameano Peptides holds 50mg/20mg of GHK-Cu and KPV, freeze-dried together. It’s for laboratory research only.
What the GHK-Cu KPV blend contains
GHK-Cu: GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to a copper ion. GHK occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine, and its levels fall with age.
KPV: KPV is the tripeptide lysine-proline-valine, the C-terminal end of alpha-melanocyte stimulating hormone. It keeps alpha-MSH’s anti-inflammatory activity without the pigment effects.
The ratio is fixed at 50mg/20mg, so every draw from the vial has the same proportions. That’s the main reason labs buy a blend: one reconstitution, one label, no drift between separate vials.
Mechanisms behind the GHK-Cu KPV blend
GHK binds copper tightly and can deliver it to cells. Copper is a cofactor for lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that cross-links collagen and elastin, and for antioxidant enzymes.
Alpha-MSH calms inflammation through melanocortin receptors. KPV is its last three amino acids and keeps much of that anti-inflammatory activity.

GHK-Cu and KPV research
Loren Pickart, who first isolated GHK in 1973, has published reviews of its effects on collagen synthesis, wound contraction and gene expression in cell and animal studies.
Maquart and colleagues reported that GHK-Cu increased collagen in rat wound chambers.
Dalmasso and colleagues reported in Gastroenterology (2008) that KPV reduced inflammation in mouse colitis models and was taken up through PepT1.
Laroui and colleagues later packaged KPV in nanoparticles and saw similar effects in mice.

Reconstituting GHK-Cu KPV blend
The volume of liquid you add sets the concentration. For a vial holding 70mg:
- 3mL of diluent gives 23.33mg/mL
- 5mL of diluent gives 14mg/mL
Pick the volume that keeps your own calculations simple, then write the concentration and the mixing date on the label.
Use a sterile diluent such as our research diluent solution. Warm the sealed vial to room temperature first so no condensation gets in, add the liquid slowly along the glass wall, and swirl gently until it’s clear. Never shake.
Storing GHK-Cu KPV blend
Store sealed vials in the fridge (2 to 8°C) or freezer (-20°C), away from light. Mixed solution goes back in the fridge and should be used within about 28 days.
GHK-Cu KPV blend quality and batch records
Each vial is labeled with the compound, the amount and a batch number. The certificate of analysis is filed under that batch number, so if you need the COA for your records, email us the number on your label and we’ll send it.
Keep the batch number with your records. It’s the quickest way to match a vial to its paperwork later.
What you need with GHK-Cu KPV blend
You’ll need a diluent to mix GHK-Cu KPV blend. Our 10mL research diluent covers several vials, and the 2mL diluent kit gives you a fresh vial for each mix. Add sterile syringes and alcohol swabs, and the 10-slot vial case if you want your vials stored upright in the fridge.
Buy GHK-Cu KPV blend in bulk
GHK-Cu KPV blend comes in more than one quantity. Pick the option from the dropdown above the cart button:
