Description
GHK-Cu 100mg is a 100mg vial of GHK-Cu, a copper-binding tripeptide, supplied by Ameano Peptides as freeze-dried powder. It’s intended for lab research only.
What is GHK-Cu?
GHK-Cu is the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine bound to a copper ion. GHK occurs naturally in human plasma, saliva and urine, and its levels fall with age.
It’s used widely in skin and wound research, and in cosmetic formulas.
How GHK-Cu acts in the lab
GHK binds copper tightly and can deliver it to cells. Copper is a cofactor for lysyl oxidase, the enzyme that cross-links collagen and elastin, and for antioxidant enzymes.
In cell and animal studies GHK-Cu increased collagen and glycosaminoglycan production, attracted repair cells to wounds, and changed the activity of many genes involved in tissue remodeling.

Published GHK-Cu studies
Loren Pickart, who first isolated GHK in 1973, has published reviews of its effects on collagen synthesis, wound contraction and gene expression in cell and animal studies.
Maquart and colleagues reported that GHK-Cu increased collagen in rat wound chambers.
The primary literature is on PubMed. Here’s a search for GHK-Cu studies to start from.
Reconstituting GHK-Cu 100mg
Here’s the math for 100mg of peptide:
- 3mL of diluent gives 33.33mg/mL
- 5mL of diluent gives 20mg/mL
Go with whichever number is easiest to work with in your protocol, and label the vial with the concentration and the date you mixed it.
Use a sterile diluent such as our research diluent solution. Warm the sealed vial to room temperature first so no condensation gets in, add the liquid slowly along the glass wall, and swirl gently until it’s clear. Never shake.
How to store GHK-Cu 100mg
Unopened, keep GHK-Cu 100mg in a fridge at 2 to 8°C, or in a freezer at -20°C if it’ll be a while before you use it. Keep it out of direct light. Once mixed, keep it refrigerated and use it within about four weeks.
GHK-Cu 100mg purity and testing
The purity spec for GHK-Cu 100mg is 99% or higher by HPLC, and that’s the floor for each batch.
The label on every vial shows the compound, the amount and the batch. Ask us for the certificate of analysis for your batch and we’ll email it over, which is handy if your lab keeps paperwork on file.
If a result in your own work looks off, check the batch number first, then the reconstitution math. Most problems with GHK-Cu come from storage or mixing, not the powder.
Setting up for GHK-Cu 100mg
You’ll need a diluent to mix GHK-Cu 100mg. Our 10mL research diluent covers several vials, and the 2mL diluent kit gives you a fresh vial for each mix. Add sterile syringes and alcohol swabs, and the 10-slot vial case if you want your vials stored upright in the fridge.
Buy GHK-Cu 100mg in bulk
You can buy GHK-Cu 100mg one vial at a time or in a multi-pack. The options in the dropdown are:
- Single vial: $53.00
- 5 pack: 5 vials for $238.50 instead of $265.00, about $47.70 a vial
- 10 pack: 10 vials for $450.50 instead of $530.00, about $45.05 a vial
Every vial in a pack is the same product and batch type as the single vial. The saving is the only difference, so buy the pack if your study will use them before they expire.
