Description
Buffered NAD+ 500mg from Ameano Peptides is 500mg of NAD+ in a sealed glass vial. NAD+ is a coenzyme. It’s for in-vitro and lab research only.
NAD+ at a glance
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme in every living cell. It carries electrons in energy metabolism and is a substrate for sirtuins and PARPs.
Its levels drop with age in many tissues.
NAD+ mechanism of action
NAD+ shuttles electrons in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle and the mitochondrial chain, so it’s needed to turn food into ATP. It’s also used up by sirtuins, which regulate gene expression, and by PARPs, which repair DNA.
Because those enzymes consume it, NAD+ levels depend on constant recycling. Falling levels with age are linked to lower sirtuin activity, which is the basis for most NAD+ aging research.

What the research says about NAD+
Reviews by Imai and Guarente, and by Verdin, cover the link between falling NAD+ and aging.
Precursors like NR and NMN have been tested in small human trials.

Buffered NAD+ 500mg reconstitution and concentration
The volume of liquid you add sets the concentration. For a vial holding 500mg:
- 5mL of diluent gives 100mg/mL
- 10mL of diluent gives 50mg/mL
Choose the volume that suits your measurements. Mark the vial with the concentration and date so nobody has to guess later.
Use a sterile diluent such as our research diluent solution. Warm the sealed vial to room temperature first so no condensation gets in, add the liquid slowly along the glass wall, and swirl gently until it’s clear. Never shake.
Storing Buffered NAD+ 500mg
Store sealed vials in the fridge (2 to 8°C) or freezer (-20°C), away from light. Mixed solution goes back in the fridge and should be used within about 28 days.
NAD+ purity and COA
Buffered NAD+ 500mg is sold at 99% purity or better, measured by HPLC. That figure is the minimum for every batch we ship, not a best case.
Each vial is labeled with the compound, the amount and a batch number. The certificate of analysis is filed under that batch number, so if you need the COA for your records, email us the number on your label and we’ll send it.
Keep the batch number with your records. It’s the quickest way to match a vial to its paperwork later.
Before you order Buffered NAD+ 500mg
Check you have everything before the vial arrives: a sterile diluent such as our research diluent solution, sterile syringes, alcohol swabs and room in the fridge. Our vial case holds ten vials upright, and the vial opener pops flip-off caps cleanly.
Buffered NAD+ 500mg single, 5 pack and 10 pack prices
Buffered NAD+ 500mg comes in more than one quantity. Pick the option from the dropdown above the cart button:
- Single vial: $68.00
- 5 pack: 5 vials for $306.00 instead of $340.00, about $61.20 a vial
- 10 pack: 10 vials for $578.00 instead of $680.00, about $57.80 a vial
Multi-packs ship as separate sealed vials, so you only open what you need. Unopened ones keep in the fridge or freezer until you get to them.
NAD+ sizes compared
- Buffered NAD+ 250mg: 250mg for $44.00, about $0.18 per mg
- Buffered NAD+ 500mg (this page): 500mg for $68.00, about $0.14 per mg
